I was laid off from my job today. I've been with my company for just over 7 years. I'm not sure how I feel about this. I haven't been happy there lately. I'm technically employed by the company through July 7 which is my official layoff date. After that I get 7 weeks severance pay. I'm scared. I really thought I had job security. Jimbo,

I am really sorry that you got laid off. There is no job loyality anymore.... it's quite terrible. Remember when door closes, others open. Keep a positive attitude and see what happens.

Thanks Ken, I appreciate it. I was really hating the job anyways. Maybe I can find something I like now.

Hey ! There ! Take by possitive , just look for a new job, i did it and works.
I know USA its difficult than here, a mena you are professional and can get it a better job than that.
