For those who don't know it, I've stumbled into podcasting now. Well, technically, FRED has gotten into podcasting and I sort of stumbled along after him. The Butcher Block (Fred named it, not me) is going to be a quasi-regular podcast about my books and so on. The first one is all about the TV show, and addresses several fan concerns that have ( Read more... )

I am new to this concept of "The Podcast", could someone kindly explain to a newcomer how I might become more well-versed in "The Podcasts" of which you speak.

(I do listen to The Butcher Block. I enjoy it emensely, however it is the only podcast that I've actually heard of.)

Check out Slice of Sci Fi, as an example. www.sliceofscifi.com, I think.

The first episode was a delight! I really enjoyed the banter between you and Fred, and it was reassuring to hear how positive you are about the changes Robert and the crew are making. I look forward to episode 2!

Am stumbling about trying to get my hands on all The Dresden Files as much as supply and disposable income will allow. We came upon them quite by happenstance. They seem to be so big elsewhere and yet nary a word on them here in South Africa. Seems sad as it makes it more difficult to convince people to give them a try. Worse still as I don't ever read anything in what can be considered 'the genre' and so my word on what passes for good reading is often met with scepticism.

Just listened to the pod cast. How much do I love that you watch House?! The prime time king of le Snark!

Not to meantion the fact that Hugh Laurie is abso-friggin-lutely brilliant.

I liked how you answered the question about Harry's staff being a hockey stick. Yeah...I can see that. Weapon for ubber-magical ass kicking AND equipment for winter-time entertainment! It works! *grin*

I wonder how House would take seeing a person who'd been smashed by a frozen turkey, though?

Page Neuro - the poultry is starting to fight back!

Death by frozen gobbler. Tragic. *hee!*

Have fun in Turonto! Don't slip on the ice!
