The entire article was to fight for the freedom of speech and expression, not to be silent, even if it means 'poking the hornet's nest'. So it seems you have missed the point, or didn't communicate your thoughts entirely.

I reposted this before asking permission, and I apologize. Now I'm asking (and will take it down if need be).

But this is important and needs to be spread, imho.

Mr. Butcher,

Love your books. I've mostly given up buying physical books, but always buy both a hard back and a digital copy of the Dresden books (and I've bought about a dozen copies of "Storm Front" to give to other people).

This is a great post. You are absolutely correct. However, I note you haven't posted the offending images. I haven't either, but then I don't do social media. These folks were killed because they said offensive things about someone. The best way to stand up to this sort of thing is to repost the offending images/commentary. You don't have to create original content of an offensive nature. But show the killers their plan failed. They not only didn't eliminate the offense, but they have actually caused it to spread.

Just my thought.

Physical books are the best, though I was loving The Dresden Files more when they came out in paperback first. Nowadays it's hardcover first, so I gotta wait for the preferred format.

Sorry, off tangent. Don't mind me.
