Mr. Butcher,

I could go on for a few paragraphs about how much I agree with this and how well-worded it is, but I'll just sum it up with a simple "Well said" and "Thank you".

Makes me think a LOT of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where Cap takes a look at the Helicarriers and tells Nick Fury

"This isn't freedom: This is fear"

Btw, I think you have some good thoughts in there and I think this kind of thought needs to be spread. You wouldn't happen to have a re-bloggable version of this for tumblr?

Jim, fantastic post about freedom and utilizing the sword to defend our future and our identity. Freedom and enlightenment came out of the western world because we emerged from the darkness of fear, of oppression, of tyranny. It was a dark and bloody history at times, but when comparing the western world and all its great accomplishments to the throw backs who threaten the very freedom we cherish -- there is no comparison. The choice is clear freedom vs slavery, fear vs enlightenment, truth vs lies. The enemy has declared war on us but our leaders refuse to see this; instead they make excuses and apologize for extremists trying to brain wash us from seeing the truth. The enemy is the enemy and they are at war with us while we pretend each attack on our freedom is an "isolated incident." How many times do we need to be attacked to realize its time to fight back?
