buh-bye appendix

I went to the doctor at 9:45am yesterday (Friday) because of some abdominal pain I had during the night. While the intense stomach pain went away, there was still some soreness in the groin area.

27 hours later, I am home, and this is what I look like under my pants and shirt:

Seriously, I'm glad you're OK. :) Haven't had the appendix out myself but I've always heard how painful it is when it's acting up.

i was lucky, it wasn't very intense. i was really laid back and joking with the doctors and they said i wasn't the typical sufferer of appendicitis.

That is what you look like after an appendectomy? That is incredible...that looks very minimal.

yeah, caught it nice and early. belly button was for the camera, and incision to the side was to blow air so they could see, and then the lowest incision was to get it out. very quick procedure, only 15-20 minutes.

Yay for laproscopic surgery. Did I spell that right? They make four cuts when you have your gall bladder removed. *hugs* Hope you recover quickly Jim!
