I am very excited because I got another job today. As life guarding winds down for the season I was excited to be hired at UCSD's Hyperbaric department. Did you ever think about what actually interests you? I mean what really gets you going. What wakes you up in the morning and gets you out of bed without an alarm prompting you. What starts your day? It is a good question. Is it passion or survival?

I went to a reading in La Jolla tonight! It was amazing. I heard so many great poets speak tonight and I am inspired. The best part was that a lot of them spoke very highly of UCSC and the Literature faculty! I am in good spirits and I am going to drink some good spirits too. Oh yay to a great Saturday!
