Stupid virus

I never got around to fixing my virus problem on my laptop as no one i know has windows xp.  I'm sure i could call Toshiba (the people who made my laptop) and explain the situation and prove my purchase of their product, but that would require actual work.  I could take it to Best Buy for installation, but I'm not that stupid.  Instead, I'm going

Sorry, I was in class when I got that message. Anyway, my department has a Microsoft contract so I've been running Windows 7 for a little over a month now on one of my home machines. I can say it definitely runs much better than Vista did on that box. However, I couldn't tell you for sure that, on your system, 7 would behave about as well as XP does now. (All indications from what I've heard so far seem to point toward yes, it probably will, but that's just people talking.)

Anyway, check your machine against the Windows 7 system requirements and if you seem to be in good shape, I'd say do it. It's a pretty great OS.
