Age is catty creature that spends the first 1/3 of your life slowly crouching down in the bushes, before suddenly leaping out at you and taking you by surprise.  Nevermind the dead rodent it brought you as a birthday present and left on your bed.

You do NOT look fat (or even pudgy) in that picture. It is inevitable that you will gain weight as you grow older as your metabolism slows. Don't fight the weight gain totally, just keep it in control.

Have I mentioned it is nice to see you posting here again?

(1) I found the "points system" of Weight Watchers to be disconcerting (and somewhat misleading). I understand it can work for some people, but I am OCD enough that I actually LIKE to count calories. I figure my BMR, my activity level, and then do 700-1000 calories less than that a day. For me, it's not hard at all. But that is probably maddening to some people ( ... )
