If you are indeed ready for a new animal partner, you should check out The Shelter From The Storm in Sun Prairie (google their website). That is where I fostered and adopted my dog from. They have several puppies and adult dogs that you may find a connection with. If you need any assistance, let me know, my sister works there. You could even foster until you find the right animal partner!
