I'm having a shoe dilemma! I fell in love with THREE pairs of shoes today but I only can only really afford to buy one (yeah, yeah, I know, first world problems). So I'm going to show you the brogues in question and you can tell me what you think...? They look so practical and yet still cute, you know ( Read more... )

They are really pretty, aren't they? The picture doesn't even do them justice. The were so pretty in the shop!

I like the 3rd pair too, but I live in Wisconsin, which is the land of snow, sand and salty mush, and they'd be ruined the first snowy days of fall/winter. I'd probably go with the first pair if I had to choose.

Hmm, something to factor in as I live in Ireland...another place not exactly known for its balmy winters!

A vote for #3 - I'm a fan of shoes with fabric like that.

They are cute, they looked like a 1940s shoe in the shop - and maybe a bit more more practical than the tweedy ones which are also cute but are more like to lose the first battle with a bad rainy day...

I think the top ones a prettiest, apart from being brown, but I don't know how well I'd be able to walk in them!

When I can afford them, I love to get shoes from here - http://www.hottershoes.com/ they are so comfy, and my I've had my waterproof gore-tex boots for years and they're still going strong. Sometimes I get lucky in the sales with the extra wide ones. My last pair of 'going out' shoes were from here - these ones in fact.

Ooooh, the pretty! I have weird feet, though, in that I vary from a 6 1/2 to a 7, depending on the shoe shape, and I prefer a rounder toe as I've freakily long toes and wide feet that I inherited from my Dad.I'm scared of buying my shoes online! (I also have a high arch, so a bit of a heel is a good thing for me, although you'd never find me in stiletos! )
