I had to walk a mile and a half in the snow tonight because my bus stopped running due to weather. It was about... zero degrees outside with windchill. Fuck you snow. Fuck you in your big stupid powdery face. There were points where I had to get up to running speed to make it through some of the snow drifts easily. I am so happy I got to leave

me too. I sat in a tub full of hot water when I got home... and it still took about 2 hours for me to recover. Oh, and I have to be the closer tommorow :D

No one here has snow gear or knows how to handle it or anything. It's pretty terrible.

Yeah... Boston and Ottawa, the two cities I've lived in, know how to deal with snow. But that just means that you're still expected to show up at work. :)
It is very very weird that your town is getting snow... It seems like a place where people move to not have to deal with Serious Winter.
