I seem to only drop by LJ every few months now, but in case anyone is curious, a quick update on my life: In 2008, I moved from Ann Arbor to New York City, and used that as a springboard to relocate to Boston, my dream city. Oddly enough, this isn't just a stressful/difficult time. In some ways it's a very good time. But it's good in a very intense and strange way. Anyway, thanks :)

Didn't even make it to Boston for Teddy's funeral, I see. *tsk, tsk*

It's too bad I can't make it out there any time soon. My SO's brother lives in Los Gatos; probably quite close to you.

That's 20 minutes from here! I drive through there at least once a week when I'm taking my dad to chemo. If you and your SO *do* happen to make a trip out here in the next few months, be sure to tell me so we can get together.

Yeah, I seriously felt bad that I wasn't in MA for Teddy's funeral, but oleander9999 was, and I felt like she was there for both of us.

I hadn't realized how long it'd been since I'd logged on here. I only kinda got back into LJ because of Nine-Verse, but I haven't updated. Since that entry, my dad died, but my brother is still alive -- his cancer came back, but he's doing well on chemo.

You probably noticed I friended you today -- I'm meaning to Friend all the Nine-Verse writers, but just now got started. I've been thinking a lot about my story and about the arc for the series, both. I also have a big chunk of stuff that could end up being used for part of the finale, if it fits with what other people want to do etc., or I'll end up writing it as a standalone story. How are you doing?

Oh, my condolences about your father, that's really sad.

Fandomwise, I'm up to my eyebrows in a long 13-part Doctor/Master fic, but I'm pretty excited about nineverse, I've been having lots of fun bouncing Martha and Nine off each other. I suppose I'll be able to squeeze it all in somehow!
