I just finished doing Script Frenzy this year (the scriptwriting version of NaNoWriMo). I made it to 100 pages of script with a Doctor Who story. No, Doctor Who doesn't take outside script submissions, and anyway the incarnation of the Doctor I was writing for was the Ninth (for those who don't watch the show, they're up to number Eleven now). His Stage IV pancreatic cancer is not going too well -- the oncologist thinks he has months left to live, but doesn't want to take a guess as to how many months. I'm participating in Script Frenzy -- writing 100 pages of script in 30 days. It started out as a project for the nine_verse -- the virtual second season of the Ninth Doctor and Rose. Just wanted to mention that. The Tom Cruise-bashing reviews are wrong, in my opinion and the opinions of my mother and brother, who saw it with me tonight and really enjoyed it too. Last night I helped out at the Wednesday Night Supper Club, a program at the Paulist Center (a Catholic church) in Boston that provides meals on Wednesday nights for homeless people or anyone who shows up.
