I post so rarely, and then when I do, it has no context. Quick update: I'm back in California; I came back at Christmastime. I'm back in my brother's guest room. His Stage IV pancreatic cancer is not going too well -- the oncologist thinks he has months left to live, but doesn't want to take a guess as to how many months. Oh, dude, I am so sorry to hear about the RL background. What is wrong with 2011? Why is it full of tsunamis and earthquakes and floods and serious health crises?

I hope both your mother and your brother get the best care and the best health outcomes -- whatever that means for their respective situations -- possible.....and in the meantime, I am glad you have the Tardis to escape to :)

Context or no, it's always nice seeing you pop your head in to LiveJournal.

You've had a crazy time of it and I hope your brother and mom are able to get well immediately. If not so lucky, I hope for things to go as well as they can, and for you and your family to find peace and happiness in such a rotten time.

Good luck with your projects, and may they be your fun and your saviors! You're really one of the neatest people I've ever met; may you never lose that streak of awesome.

Despite the fact that I've been so slow to reply, your message made and is making me go "awww." Thank you! You know, I'll never forget the time we all met in Florida to go see Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks. That was what, 8 years ago? Wow. Anyway, I hope you're doing well yourself. My brother and mother are hanging in there and I finished a 100-page script for Script Frenzy, so things are not bad. :)

Wow - I was thinking about you just earlier today, and here you are! So very sorry about your brother. And your mom. I'm glad you are able to be there with them, but sad that you are going through all that. Glad to hear you have some good things going on, and it's so nice to see you here in LJ!

That's funny that you were thinking about me that day and then I posted. My brother's doing a bit better now -- he's on a new type of chemo that may give him more time. We'll see. Anyway, thanks for thinking about me and commenting, despite my very long silence on LJ. :)
