My talk, a case study of how the Fedora Infrastructure used Red Hat Messaging to solve growth issues was not accepted. As such I will not be at the Red Hat Summit this year, unlike the previous 3. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it!

Since nearly the beginning of the Fedora Project, I've held some role in the governance of it. Either via FESCo (Fedora Extras/Engineering Steering Committee) or the Fedora Board. If you're on the fedora-devel-list mailing list, you've likely noticed how hostile it has become as of late. Ever since we closed down fedora-maintainers-list and migrated everybody over to fedora-devel-list there has been a clash of cultures. A full mile of progressively harder hill climb? What was I thinking?!

Also recently I biked out to Gig Harbor and back. Most of this route..

What I really need to find is a route that gives me 20+ miles but doesn't have these giant hills. Oh well.

Is there really such a thing as too cuteMy son breaks my heart every time I see him because he's just too cute.
