Kristen gave me the first season of "Little House on the Prarrie" on DVD for my b-day. 19 hours of family goodness and wholesome fun. It is, by far, the best gift ever. It sure beats the heck out of that used kidney she gave me. Sure, it was what I needed, but was it what I wanted? DVDs are much better.

Helped a friend move today--now my elbow hurts. At least he will HAVE to help me move--self interest is really the only reason to help anyone. Found a house today that I want to buy. I've only been running junk miles recently (and not many at that) and yet I am incredibly sore. Odd. I've used my leg massager and today I discovered that it has a heat setting too. But when I flipped it on I didn't feel any heat. Oh well, since I didn't know it had it, I won't miss it.

The band I am liking now is Idelwild. They're Scottish, like groundskeeper Willie. I wish my TV got The Simpsons. I am also happy because these boots I got in Wichita at Sheplers for $30 (down from $80) look exactly like the $170 boots in the new Jcrew. If only it were cold, I could wear them. I could wear them to Scotland.

I went to a Phillies/Expos game today. The Phillies have not only the rudest fans in all of baseball, but also the fattest and the ugliest. Trust me on this. I got a sunburn on my nose, so it looks like I have been drinking.

The Gap is suggesting that for fall we wear tall boots with cropped pants. This is the new, ultracool look of Nazi paratrooper. Also, why are they giving fall suggestions in July? My new livejournal colors are ugly. I love them.
