Oh I am so jealous. China has long been on my list too. And your pictures just make me want to go even more. Sigh. Someday I will, I'm sure.

In the meantime, happy holidays. Let's catch up in the new year.

Happy belated holidays to you, too! Now that my life is a bit more...settled...we should meet up for lunch/dinner/drinks/snark.

Gorgeous pictures. China is v high on my 'places I must go to' list. It seems to be changing so fast.

Thanks for sharing. I hope you manage to persuade work that more business trips are a good investment.

The dichotomy between the urban centers and the rural areas is just amazing--and things change within a matter of two miles, or maybe three. The development is happening so fast, yet in such a centralized way.

I'm reminding folks at work that yes, I *do* travel well, and I'd love to go on a trip and be allowed to brief out things that are my main area of expertise!

Wow! Finally had a chance to sit down and look at the photos. Lovely. My brother and his family were in China last summer and we were madly jealous, and now that I've seen your pictures, I'm even more envious!
