Oh I am so jealous. China has long been on my list too. And your pictures just make me want to go even more. Sigh. Someday I will, I'm sure.

The dichotomy between the urban centers and the rural areas is just amazing--and things change within a matter of two miles, or maybe three. The development is happening so fast, yet in such a centralized way.

I'm reminding folks at work that yes, I *do* travel well, and I'd love to go on a trip and be allowed to brief out things that are my main area of expertise!
