This is a post-dated entry that I will be updating as I see fit. It is simply a collecting place for strange subject headings on spam emails. Feel free to contribute in the comments...

Hi, I found you on , and then noticed that we've both also on sevreal other lists together. I'm a displaced Ann Arbor-ite, and I've friended you as I would like to live vicariously in AA though you, if that's alright!

I'm not very interesting, I'm afraid, but sure! I'll even add you back. :)

Thanks for saying something though. It weirds me out when I discover that someone has friended me without saying something.

I got one in April with the subject line "Fraudulent Spam". Hey, at least he was honest (he being "Dutton, Adrian")

Hm, I'm not sure about hat shops, but I know of a vintage store right on State st. next to Espresso Royale. They always have stuff out front so it'll be easy to find. There's also Salvation Army, also on State St. but south of campus on the corner of Stadium I think. It's not that far to walk, but probably better to bike/drive there depending on where you live. It is the biggest Salvation Army store I've ever seen :) If you get desperate and want to pay the triple digits, check out Van Boven. It's on state and the Arcade (which is the cute little covered alley full of shops that goes between State and um...Maynard? The tailor in there is expensive and irresponsible, btw.), and specializes in high-end menswear. I've never been in there.

Welcome to town!

Hi! Remember the post in menstrual_cups with a Diva and a MC UK for sale? I bought the MC UK and you got the Diva... I was just wondering if your cup has arrived or if you've been in touch with the seller at all? I paid on 6/29 and I know it is coming from overseas... but we are moving soon and I haven't been able to get in touch with the seller at all. I was wondering if it was a fluke thing or if you are having any trouble, too. Thanks!

Neither for me, but I've been out of town. I was planning to follow up when I got back if it hadn't arrived yet. Perhaps I can try to email her...

Hey there, I sent her a message on Skype and an email to her gmail address. No response to either, no bounceback (so the email was good), and no cup. Have you heard anything yet?

She made a post in the cups community saying that she had come down with swine flu and that set everything back... but she had the cups ready to mail out. I'm not sure how many days ago that was now, but I haven't heard anything since. No personal contact at all. I'll be moving to another state this Saturday and sent her a message with my new address - now I'm worried if the cup will turn up at this address where I will never be able to get it.
