i can't speak.
yup. i have completely, utterly, 100% lost my voice. not like when you lose your voice and you sound all raspy and it hurts, or where you can't talk above a whisper - no, it is just gone. i talk and nothing comes out. i felt sick all week and now i feel better, but apparently my vocal cords disagree. either that or i am being Taught A Lesson ( Read more... ) -

Lisa and Christine were here last week - it was a very short visit, but it was good to see them. We didn't do a lot of sightseeing - the gallery Lisa wanted to visit was closed on Mondays (which we only found out after a frustrating search for it...), but I think the highlight for them may have been the Crown. but i really do have the Best Landlord Ever.
He knew I was having a party tonight for the Fourth. So what did he do? He stopped by this afternoon and dropped off a case of long-neck Budweiser and a couple of bottles of wine.
