ODST arrived with no muss and no fuss on launch day for me (thanks, Amazon!). I finished my first play through last night. The game is basically Halo 3 with better storytelling and excellent voice acting (Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, and Tricia Helfer). I hate articles like this . Even if humans are causing climate change, the ability to directly tie 300,000 deaths (mostly from malnutrition and hygiene related illnesses) to climate change, is pure bunk.

Also, the vast majority of the deaths described could be prevented at a much lower cost by simple charity.

I tried to call mom a couple of times today, but she didn't answer. I finally got a hold of her and realized that I'd forgotten that she and dad are driving my little sister up to South Dakota for her new job. I guess there are some places without cell coverage still in the middle of the great plains.

Alumni weekend was great. I got to catch up with friends whom I hadn't seen in years. I really need to stay in touch better - it's never something that I've done well, sadly.
