DRM rears its ugly head again. Apparently every PC copy of Gears of War shut off on January 28th. I'd call that a defective product (especially if the license didn't state the cut off date), and I hope that EPIC gets hit with a class action suit that makes every game maker think before they put stupid "copy protection" features into their games ( Read more... )

Obama's alleged reading list is pretty interesting, though I have to wonder if it's accurate and complete. If so, I'm seeing a disappointing lack of books on military history/science, economics, and science. Still, there are some very good books on that list, and few of them are light weight.
