It was beautiful out today.

Last night I went to my first rehearsal with Matt Germak. It was pretty good. I don’t think this’ll be the band I get famous with or anything. I’m more in it for the experiential aspect of it. On Thursday night I made chili & watched Rambo with Adam because is was the most guy movie we could think of. Tonight I rented The Bourne Supremacy because I really liked the first one. I’ve come to the conclusion that they’re both the same movie. What a knock off. I still love them both.

So my guitar teacher, Tony Gaboury (gay-bree), who commutes from Maine, told me he would be in at 9 this morning to give me a makeup lesson but never showed. This afternoon I went to the MFA with Adam. Well the reality was I had to go for my history class & I got Adam to come with me because he likes it there & always has stories about girls he meets there. Today my Counterpoint 2 teacher played us Bach’s “Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 in D major.” At the end of the first movement there’s this harpsichord solo that sounds amazingly like Van Halen’s “Eruption.” I always knew a lot of shred metal was based off of classical pieces but this was more like a bad copy.
