Eckhart Tolle's beautiful gift
My therapist suggested I read the Power Of Now several months back. it was such an incredible experience I found the A New Earth book before it hit Oprah. His books gave me an incredible gift of being able to feel less lost when emotions start happening. I tend to not swirl down as far, or have as difficult of time coming out. -
Tired
Sheesh. Getting my house ready to sell, and phone interviews almost everyday last week are getting a little tiring. I am tired.
The house market here isn't great, so all the work I have put into fixing the house up won't be coming back to me. The market being the way it is there is no guarantees prices won't dip, so I am cutting my losses and ( Read more... ) -

I go up to the MS site and I see this headline: Choose from new PCs designed to help eliminate AIDS in Africa
My first thought is - PCs and Condoms? Next thought is - What PC have they created that is passing AIDS? What new sex toy have I not heard about?
I didn't bother actually looking at the link itself. -
Snow!!
We got between 6-8 inches of snow last night. I think they must have stored some of the snow plows for the summer because the roads were just a mess. On my way to work I passed a vehicle that had slide off the road, down a short hill, and had flipped upside down into a large ditch. Two more accidents had occured before I reached my destination.

Resoultion Complete!
I climbed Mt. Olympus, here in SLC, the weekend before going to AZ. Mt. Olympus is slightly longer, and definitely more steeper than Mt. Si in Seattle. It took 5.5 hours as there was snow on the last third of the trial - which is very steep and difficult to begin with. It felt awesome ( Read more... ) -
Wow
The last month has been crazy. Sick for over 2 weeks (only out of work for one, though it should have been 2), then recovering work, then my dog got super sick - spent evening in dog hospital, then left on my long road trip. Sheesh.

My mom is friends with a woman that is in the Utah Symphony, teaches at the UofU, is involved in chamber music, and conducts a youth orchestra. Due to this connection I have been attending some great free concerts, tonight was the UofU staff recital. Music, Meditation, and a new Gathering
Music: Tonight my sister Tammy, my Mom and I are getting together to play some quartet music minus the viola part. We decided to try to do this on a regular basis on Wednesday evenings. I also agreed to play in a little local play along with Tammy. Everyday I spend time at my piano - got it tuned which made a huge difference. Feels great to ( Read more... ) -

So I got on a big cleaning/rearranging spurt with my house over the past couple of weeks. Great way to get over the ending of a relationship. Getting the house ready to start inviting some people over for meditations.
