Washing machine just went bang and started smoking.

Juat glad I was in the kitchen when it happened and turned it off fast.

Yikes! Wow, it's a good thing you *were* in the kitchen. I hope the machine is fixable. :(

(I love your icon, by the way. Very appropriate!)

I was lucky, because I was going to put it on and go shopping. So glad I didn't now.

LOl. I love that icon. I had it made for me.

You have to take the blessings where you can. It sucks that the thing went bang, but at least you were there. How wet did the floor get?

I managed to get the door open. it was full of water as it had not long filled up. So the floor and me got totally soaked. So i spent ages mopping it up.

Then had to rinse and hand wring everything. Not cool.

So I'm not the only one whose life falls apart, starting roughly at 9pm, Friday? The car starts making that funny noise, the pet starts reeling around the room, pus flowing from their eyes, and yes, the washing machine/dryer/fridge starts smoking. Bah to the weekend sometimes!

you have had all that this weekend already?

dude, do not upset your computer.

I can't tell you how much I enjoyed clearing up the kitchen when it flooded when I got the door open lol

Whats up with the pets?

LOL! Not all in one weekend! But it's become such a regular occurrence in my life that if the car starts to seem a bit sluggish on a Thursday, I drive it straight to the repair shop. The cat's eye's looking bad? Call the vet on Wednesday, praying to get in Friday.

And forget any medical problems for your own body. Ever tried to call a doctor on Monday to get an appointment? We are not alone in this problem.

Don't give me a shiver at the idea of a computer meltdown! Actually, I did get a terrible virus on a Friday evening a couple of months ago, now that I think of it. But I saved myself money because I spent all weekend trying different free anti-virus sweeps for the hell of it, and sure enough, managed to cure it! *nods the creepy hacker in his PJs who's still watching my every keystroke from his Mommy's basement*

I see at least it is under warranty, but boy they should last a bit longer *sigh*

Have you noticed that the washing machine always breaks down when you've got a backlog of washing to do, never on the last load?

Yup I have tons to do. I do two or 3 loads a day or every other day. and it was THAT day. So yes. it totally knows.

Yeah I took out a extended warrenty. pay £5 a month. Just glad I took it out now. Even so it is only 2 and a half years old.

That 5 pounds was totally worth is. Have you got your washing working yet?

nope its dead. everything has to be replaced. The circuit board is burnt right out but he can't see why. which means he has to replace the lot, pump etc otherwise it will just do it again.

And he has to order all the parts.

it's driving me mad. lol

Yeah I took out an extended warrenty when I bought it. I pay monthly.

And my dad told me I was wasting money taking it out. lol

Sometimes the extened warranties really do pay off. Although I would probably me more of your dad's opinion though!
