I'm reading the curious incident of the dog in the night-time, which my sister loaned to me. It's pretty good. The writing style is a bunch of run-on tangents which makes it different and entertaining.

"Look Barry, they have a train elf." And another man came and stood next to him and said, "Well, we have both been drinking." And the first man said, "Perhaps we should feed him some nuts."
I really didn't know what this book was about other than this kid, who thinks very differently from "normal" people, decides to find out who killed the neighbor's dog. It's a great ride, following this kid's story through his writing, but at the same time it's really sad. Not what I was expecting, but I didn't really know what to expect.
I haven't finished it yet, he's just about to use the tube to get to his stop in London.
