Mindfully hopeful
I think this summer is going to shape up to be fabulous. I am aware of a great deal of music that I am enjoying. Old favourite bands putting out great albums and the potential for them to tour over the summer. I also have been hearing exciting new music. I feel like I am slowly getting my emo issues under control. Or at least becoming more aware of them. So I have been trying to be and do nice things for myself. The past couple of months
Life has been good. I have been really enjoying the content of the engineering course. I have nice mates at uni. I have reconciled with a number of people from last year. My family has all been spending time in the northern territory so I have been on my own in their home.I have started an English grammar class, which I am enjoying. I worked the ( Read more... ) -

But now I need to decide to drop out or not to drop out, or will I be kicked out?

Perhaps we won't die of Mad Max meets Big Brother
So I got out of I hate everything the world is ending funk. Turns out I just needed some time off uni away from Engineers and maths. It is amazing what a week off can do to one's outlook on life. Apocalypse
Has anyone else noticed that the world is ending? Well the media seems to love telling me it is? I feel like the world is stuck in some bad science fiction movie. It is all self involved and everyone doesn't seem to have any pragmatic or interesting ways of digging humanity of its continuous blunders. I had a realisation today. The epiphany is very disturbing and I am not entirely clear on how to resolve or change it. I discovered that I associate feeling loved and loving with sharing in painful emotions. Intellectual Intimacy
I went to a romantic comedy today. Ooooh the shame. I don't know why I do this to myself. I spend an hour and a half rolling my eyes and laughing at the wrong bits. Revolutionary Road.
I saw Revolutionary Road last night and it did not disappoint. This is a big deal because I had high expectations for this film. I usually don't like films. I am still trying to work out why it had such a profound emotional impact. My brother was really disturbed by it. I think I find it a bit to relatible and I don't know why I am not more upset.
