Having the life sucked out of me

Laughing boy is back from Northern Ireland. He's hardly been able to muster a hollow shadow of enthusiasm for being at home, and seeing me, despite the fact that I've cleaned the house top to bottom and done the research he asked me to, and the fact that I'm going away tomorrow...I've received a few digs already: "So, have you got all your fun and ( Read more... )

He's pissed off that you're going to have a life without him for a few days. And dealing with it in the most passive/aggressive way possible. I soooooooooooooooooo know this routine, right down to the chirpy attitude with the kids while giving me a total fuck-off attitude.

I have to work today but will be on-line after about 3:30 p.m. my time (what is that, 9:30 or 10:30 your time?) Any chance you'll be around? I'd love to chat before you leave on your trip. Screw V -- I'LL miss you!

*hugs*

Hey!!! Idea! I have been meaning to buy another phone card. Could I possibly call you while you're at your folks' some evening? We could hear each other's voice without the international phone call charge! :-D

I kow he's just arsey because I'm going away, and the passive aggressive shit is so a hallmark of our relationship, it could be engraved with his name. Not that I haven't asked him a hundred times to come. His excuse to Daisy? "Well, now that mummy's not earning so much money any more we really can't afford it." Bloody wanker. Right...and what's your excuse been every other time you couldn't be arsed to come? And what about that £20k that's sitting in your bank account, mate? Can't spare £300 for a plane ticket? "But I can't work if I'm away, and I don't get holiday pay..." Uh huh. That week of missed work might just bankrupt us all ( ... )

I remember the chat about "if it doesn't effect his ability to get food, sex, blah blah" if doesn't effect him.

What a bitch! When my aunt died a few years ago, I left with my sister, brother and mother (to drive to Kansas) with little to no warning. I set up what time the girls should get up, Richard was to take them to Patti's house to catch the bus and he would pick them up there at night (for a week).

He had no problem with that. The Orlando trip was a bit different. He paid for it but you talk about "your LEAVING me and the KIDS!" trip! *eye roll*

*"party time"... yeah right laughing boy!*

*hugs* babes. I am sure it isn't personal. You are the person that he can feel free to offload his shitty moods on. Daisy is still a child so he feels he has to put a face on with her.

It's crap for you though. You are fabulous and lovely and magnificent and he is fucking lucky to have you!

*throws laughing boy a dirty look*

*hugs and hugs and hugs*
