Today was the first day of classes! I only had two: English and Spanish. I like both my professors, but especially my Spanish professor. So, Monday & Tuesday I went on the Wesley retreat. It was really really great. God showed me so much. First of all, I'm really excited about my community group. I really like my co-leader; it seems like we have similar personalities & leadership styles, so I think we'll blend well. Well, first of all, Matt left for Iraq yesterday. Honestly, I'm not sad. I'm not afraid. I'm am perfectly fine. I definitely hate that he and Jenny & Elena have to be separated, but I'm more sad about that than the fact that he's going off to war. I have the largest headache. I think it's from the mixture of not sleeping well last night and being in the sun all day. Last night the drumline practiced until late at night, so once they did stop, the lights from the parking deck across the street and the cars from the road right under my window kept me up. Well, I'm back at school! Mom, Dad, Tim, & I had a nice family breakfast, then Mom & Tim helped me move in. It really wasn't that bad. It was hot, but we got it done quickly, so it was okay.
