How do publishers find out about artists for cover art? I suspect my small-press British poetry publisher had a different process than a big New York-based science fiction imprint would have. A friend of mine is quite a talented artist. How would she go about getting her work in front of book publishers?

The Magazine of Speculative Poetry just accepted "Love in the Time of Alien Invasion." Yay! I needed an ego boost; today has been otherwise kind of a shitty day.

Over the summer - while Alan was in Ireland, so probably late July - Mom & Dad visited and we went to a street fair in downtown Concord, which included booths for some of the Presidential candidates.
