Since I'm switching temp jobs this week, UPS had a little going-away party for me on Friday. I was really quite touched and surprised, since most places don't normally do that sort of thing for temps. They gave me a gift certificate to Barnes & Noble as a thank you, and ( last night I ordered )

So, my publisher is going out of business. Perhaps more accurately, he's retiring, and since it's just the one guy, he's folding the business. Since my book is already out of print and I won't have a new full-length poetry manuscript for several years, this doesn't affect me very much, but it's still a bit sad ( Read more... )
