In a totally random turn of events, I thought I would tell everyone that I think the Dutch word for eraser/rubber is "potloodgum". Much nicer word than "rubber".

The difficulties of making a cup of something hot
At the moment I am doing some cleaning once a week for one of the neighbours. It means the overdraft isn't taking quite such a hit whilst I wait for the new job to start... Returning Things To Amazon
Has anyone ever tried returning things to Amazon? I ordered some items for smallbluesphere's birthday back in the middle of October. Package 1 never arrived. The re-sent package no. 2 didn't either.
