Ok it's been a while. More than a while. So I'm just gonna pretend that it hasn't been many months since I wrote here.

Second semester is good so far. My classes are fairly easy, there's just a lot of reading. For my class on the American Novel we've already read The Scarlet Letter and are now working on Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King ( Read more... )

I've been at college for three days now, and I really am enjoying it. I came on Tuesday for a Preorientation thing, and my group and I went hiking on the Appalachian Trail. It was really long, rocky, and tiring, but I had a good time. I've actually become really good friends with a couple of people, so overall I'm happy ( Read more... )

Apparently they've made a movie of I Capture the Castle, one of my favorite books. I went to the website and watched the trailer and some clips yesterday and it looks lovely. It's not coming out in the U.S. until July, and it probably won't be showing in any theaters near me. =( I need to reread so many books and that is definitely one of them ( Read more... )
