This whole hurricane thing is putting me in such a bad mood. It's so aweful what those people are going through. I can't imagine what it's like, or what it would be like to go through that. The loss of life and property is devistating

It's the worst hurricane to stike the U.S. since the Galveston Hurricane of 1900. I've never see so much death and destruction in the U.S. as a result of a natural disaster. It also looks like it will replace Hurricane Andrew of 1992 as the costilest disaster in U.S. history. Damage estimates have already exceded $30 Billion!! My question is why has the goverment been so slow to send aid to them? Why aren't their gaurdsman stopping looters and why aren't their more army transports to get the people out of the city? The most disturbing part about all this was that thugs have been going around raping elderly and disabled woman!! Those thugs must be caught or killed!!

true- they're considering enacting Marshall law, so anyone can be shot without much warning, or any for that matter. And as replacing Hurricane Andrew- I don't know the truth in that- you need to check on that because it might seem like it does- don't forget to add in over 10 years of inflation... that makes a big difference...

p.s.- New Orleans is below sea level- so if their damage is more costly- that's the main reason why... sea water flooded in... let's hope they have flood damage...
