Thanksgiving 2012
So, I haven't posted much about the kids since I showed off their adorable Halloween super hero costumes. For thanksgiving we went to my Uncle GL's in Dallas. It was such a beautiful day we were able to eat outside and let the kids play. I was very glad for not having to make sure my kids didn't touch their fancy stuff. Misty Bruce Sewell
I was headed to breakfast with a friend when I got a call from my grandma. She was crying and said something about someone dying. I assumed she was talking about my mom again because sometimes her grief consumes her and she'll call me. She wasn't. Halloween 2012
So Halloween was fun this year, Maddox was really into it and understood the process. Except that he would go knock on the door, say trick or treat, followed by I like suckers. Just Updates
Yikes, I am horrible at posting. I am busier than usual these days. I've picked up a day at work but have been working on my days off since about January. I try to tell myself that hard work pays off in the end, but I am honestly feeling not so great about work. Kiddos and work
Maddox has totally been cracking me up lately, he does so many cute things. He has started to ask for a drink before bed and says
"I'm really thirsty I get a drink, peease mommy, just a wittle bit" while holding his fingers apart as wide as they go.
He has also be pretend singing to evelyn in the car I can see him in my review mirror bobbin his head ( Read more... ) -
Triathlon
In June I did a triathlon. It was actually kind of crazy. Honestly I'm not that athletic, I am motivated and I'll keep pushing myself but when it comes to raw talent, mine doesn't lie in the physical.

Funny kids and Fourth of July
My kiddos are so fun these days. Maddox is at one of my favorite ages. 2.5 comes with so much fun. He is talking up a storm and has just the funniest things to say. A couple of months ago while I was putting Maddox to bed, he interrupted story time to tell me my shirt was not cool but that his was. My Evelyn Preslee
Oh my sweet girl. She has been my "angel baby" from the time I was able to get her weight up a pound in a week. I love that girl. There are so many emotions that come along with being a parent and there are new ones with each child. Evelyn is so affectionate, she loves giving kisses and getting them too. Spring Break 2012
This Spring Break was one of the best I've had in a long time. My ex-sister-in-law offerred to share her mother's time share with us in New Braunfels, TX.
