I'm on vacation in my home town, Nelson, B.C.

I love it here.

I hate my job in Vancouver. The more money and responsibility I get, the less I want to be there.

My life sucks, I don't give myself a lot to look forward to. I've been in a really unnatural holding pattern for a real long time.

I got a lot to think about.

Some woman came to the store today and blew my mind. She was the worst customer I've ever seen. She was shouting about how she hated the salesperson dealing with her, and hated her whole experience at the store. She went fucking Ahab because she was kept waiting for 20 minutes ( Read more... )

I read in the paper that it's take your dog to work day.

I'd like to take that further. Everyone should take their dog to work and leave them there, go home. All the dogs at work and all the people at home.

Well I think it's funny, in theory anyway. Or maybe just weird.

Sometimes I feel like the only time I ever really see what's going on in my life is when my head is on fire.

I've always been too complacent, how can I get myself into the state of emergency that seems to be neccesary for me to do anything meaningful?
