I so don't want this weekend to end as it means work is tomorrow, I am off next Thurs and Fri and I can not wait.

I used to like work but since I have gone fulltime I am finding I am enjoying it less.

I would rather stay home and play with my new washing machine - god that sounds sad.

I went to see a Jazz band play in our local park this afternoon. They played well but it lacked a certain va va vum. It made me realise that although the group I play with are not as good as the one I saw today, we do however enjoy ourselves and that is the main thing.

Poor Em got her AS level results today and got 3 U's - she struggled and did not put enough effort in but they were really too difficult for her. Then to top that her boyfriend finished with her on msn and the phone - git. I hate to see my girls suffering. Went to see goddessmaat in hospital this evening and she looked so tired bless her. The women opposite her was moaning and groaning then it all went quiet. I did make goddessmaat laugh whenI said perhaps she is dead - I was only joking of course.

The hospital we were at is the same one blue_donkey spent 16 days in last year and I am hoping goddessmaat has a better stay than he did. It ( Read more... )

it's so peaceful without the girls - they are on holiday for 8 days with their Dad and his family.

blue_donkey and I went to see the Batman film today which was great. It was however most annoying when they turned the film off to fiddle with the sound. We complained and got a free pass each to see another film. Heath Ledger was great as the Joker and at ( Read more... )
