Sometimes that's done for a reason... to get around the damn DRM encryption engine... since searches are context sensitive, misspelling will cause them to avoid detection... hence pron, pr0n, etc...

The best thing about people? They're all flammable.

That reminds me of a great line in the remake of "Diabolique". Someone tells Sharon Stone "Second-hand smoke kills". She glares at him and replies slowly, "Not reliably enough."

Reading notes posted in stores, at my work, and notes in general, I feel people just don't care.

I was taught in school that people, employers specifically, will take you seriously and with more respect if you can communicate intelligently- which also means common spelling errors (like the confusion that stems from the words 'to', 'too' and 'two'. How many times have you read "I feel that way to" or "I have to of those"?).

I know I've made mistakes in my LJ (specifically), but I tend to go back and correct them if/when I notice them.

The response I usually get back is "you know what I meant" (most likely thought out as "you no what I meant"). Not really.

Whew- was that a rant? ;-D Explain a bit aboot (I can say that cuz I'm 1/4 Canadian) the "DRM encryption game".

did you know that Bjork did the remake of Leaving on a Jet Plane?
DId you know that Rammstein did Personal Jesus (the original, mind you)?
Did you know that Aretha Franklin did Mightnight Train to Georgia?

The more you know...

I noticed that Aretha did a lot more than we thought. It turns out she was the ONLY black female artist from the 1960s, other than Miss Ross & The Supremes (I didn't know they did "It's My Party"! I thought it was Lesley Gore, a 15 year old white girl!)

Nor did I know the Beatles did "Last Train to Clarksville". Or that the Beatles and Jimi Hendrix and the Doors all collaberated.

I'm not sure if these people are stupid or lazy. Maybe a combination of the two?
