Disturbing

Almost two years ago, I made a brief post about a book called “Geek Love” by Katherine Dunn, calling it, “the sickest, most twisted, most fascinating, most horrifying book I have ever read.” (I read it over winter break). holy crap... that review makes me want to read it. The last Palahniuk book I read was Pygmy. Not the easiest thing to read, but someone unique. After reading a difficult book, I have to clean the pallet by reading something a bit more cheerful. It's good mental flossing. :p

I make my trip to Boston tomorrow. Maybe we'll be seen during the Celtics game Friday. :D hope you are doing well.

A friend of mine who was also reading "Haunted" is now reading "The Hunger Games." I've followed up "Haunted" with "Boneshaker," a steampunk novel with zombies. We might be slightly unclear on the concept of following up Palahniuk with something cheerful. ^_^
Yes, I remember you are going to Boston! Are you going to be there at the same time as Shea?
Have a good time! I have been mildly sick lately, but otherwise okay. When are you getting back from Boston?
