Owww! That's kind of what happened to a workmate of mine, so I know what scary stuff it can be. Glad you're okay and I hope they can get you sorted out quickly once the things heals itself.

*hugs gently*

It must have been horribly scary and painful.

I'm glad things are improving for you now, hon.

It wasn't really scary for me. I wasn't really aware what was happening when I was dealing with the infection to realise how bad it was and when it first burst the pain didn't leave me any room for being scared.

http://www.theguardian.com/sport/2012/mar/30/olympics-2012-athletics and both of our experiences pale in comparison to this! Who in the midst of a gallstone attack tries to win an Olympic distance running event?

Hope you gallstone troubles are fixed soon.

Oh, my gallstone troubles were over a decade ago now, so very much sorted (as yours will be soon - just hang on to that!). But I can't believe that runner - I could barely stand up when I was in pain from them, as I'm sure you can relate to!

I know! Kerry is the same and this guy is borderline insane.

My troubles would have all been over Thursday if the gall bladder could have waited!

Eek, that sounds scary. Hope you are taking it easy and that it is all sorted out soon.

Don't have a choice about taking it easy sadly. Still at that stage where you feel fine sitting still but a trip to the bathroom feels like you've climbed Everest.
