Time for a State of the Joe update I think

Firstly, posting this from ipad so if some of it looks like gibberish, it probably is. I haven't got the hang of typing on here yet and autocorrect hates me.

As most of you know I have been having gallstone issues and was scheduled for a routine op on 13th to have the gallbladder removed. Those of you who IM me know I was counting the days.

Thanks. I'll hopefully be curled up on the couch at home letting the staffie give me get better snuggles soon as I'm moving past the needs hospital care stage and into the needs time and rest to recover stage. I think staffie snuggles should be available to everyone on prescription.

No local A&E? Cripes...

I'm glad that you at least have internet access and a decent menu while you rest and recover.

The local hospital has a minor injuries unit but no A&E. It's a pain because just because you came in by ambulance doesn't mean they have any responsibility for getting you home again.... It's a 30 minute drive and I don't drive anyway. Getting in for the op was going to be an issue before Kerry told me I could claim back transport costs.
