Good thinking to put the hat top-down! A live flame could cause all sorts of problems that can't be explained away as easily as a live snowman.

I know that's kind of an inappropriate reaction, but I really think Millie made the right choice-- and was much cleverer than the hat thought she was.

Maybe mud or dirt? Like a golem...
That is never a good sign.

I'm SO glad Millie burned the hat instead of putting it on her mother's head. Yikes.
