It's Memorial Day, which means it's the day I plant my herb garden. Why is today the day? Because Memorial Day weekend is when God's Waiting Room hosts the Garden Jubilee, the official start of street festival season. The end of winter is a sad time for me. I love the cold, the frost in the morning, the promise of a snowy day. But the Earth turns, the seasons change, and winter warms into spring.
