New year - new dress

After an autumn winter when I haven't done much at all I have an update. I decided on Saturday 29th of December that I needed a new dress for the Twelthnight ball on Friday the 4th of January. I had the fabric but it was not washed as I usually like to do before sewing. So I had to start by washing and ironing beforethe dress could be started.

Thank you! It is my favourite petticoat. It can be worn with a number of outfits.

Thank you! I am amazed too that it went together so easily. I fully expected to be sewing at least the evening before the event.
