I think you're a favorite of a lot of people, I know you're one of the top three best ones I've seen. I don't think you'll have much of a problem as long as you focus, you're really good, John.
You're such a kind, sweet young man, John, and I mean that in a good way. I think both the judges and the public are kind of tired of overly arrogant people, and you have confidence that comes out in your singing when you control your nerves. The kind of confidence that doesn't have to tell everyone how great you are, you just sing, and they know it. Besides being a marvelous singer, you're an admirable role model.
Wouldn't it be cool if all 32 of us got recording deals or some other kind of big gigs?!
Thanks, Fantasia. I hope I still give off those vibes next week.
It would be awesome but it's sadly unrealistic. I'm still just hoping that a lot of them are discovered some way or another so this isn't the end of the road for some of us.
Several years ago on Letterman or Leno or one of those was a parrot who sang "I Left My Heart in San Francisco" -- he sang it pretty darn well for a non-human, and for all this time, I always think of that parrot when I hear of the song. But now I'll think of you instead. Your voice gives me goosebumps. Literally. I hope I'll get to hear a lot more of it in the months and years to come.

I do see a lot of similarities, but your voice is better. ;)
