I didn't grow up Catholic. :) But there is no doubt that some of the imagery speaks to me. I'm grateful for that.

I can't believe how quickly time goes by. I've been spending all of my free time in my studio. There hasn't been as much time as I would like, but there it is... we make do with what we have. I feel as if I could spend every day in the ( Read more... )

Aria! :) Thanks for that link and the info. I do in fact live right in front of the ocean... so this makes sense. What a nice take on this piece... I like the idea of this piece being a culmination of what I love about the ocean... thw peacefulness... the grace and power.

So glad to see you around... I've drawn some inspiration from your work in the past year for my own pieces.... (although you would probably never see the connection LOL) I do appreciate your feedback. :)

It's always such a pleasure to see your new work, John. I think it's just as much a pleasure to experience, through your words, the emotions YOU feel.. it's sort of like being a good and beautiful person, vicariously. ;)
