Gained a new appreciation for Slow Club's "Thinking Drinking Sinking Feeling (Lays Commercial Song)". Not all of the lyrics are relevant, but it's still a good song, and one which I think is enjoyable in its place.

Five days removed from one of the best series (for now) finales in the history of American sitcoms, I still can't seem to get over how excellent and appropriate the last episode of Scrubs ended up being. Well, my semester's over. It ended yesterday at around 6:30pm. I don't yet know how I feel about it all though. It's difficult to find lyrics that don't imply either love or regret. If you're just in a "happy to be here" mood, there's very little the lyrical world can do for you. This is probably because just being "happy to be here" doesn't really invoke enough emotion to write a song. Glad I just made that observation ( Read more... )
