You know, I'm generally the type to roll my eyes at cries of "THE 90'S ARE BACK!" but Jesus Christ, that Titans and Deathstroke cover.

And they're integrating the Wildstorm characters into the DC Universe proper? A group of heroes whose whole appeal was that you could do stuff with them that you couldn't do with Marvel / DC's rosters? That they were basically a superhero universe with a Vertigo books sensibilities? Well, that's not the stupidest freakin' idea I've ever heard. Can't wait for the Justice League to give the Authority a stern talking to about how heroes don't kill.

And looking over that list of new titles, the titles I'll probably follow are...by all the writers in DC's stable that I'm following now. (Scott Snyder, Paul Cornell, John Rozum...Whatever Morrison's gonna end up doing.) What a rousing success DC!

I think the worst thing about that Teen Titans cover is Tim's costume. Not just because it's hideous (although it most certainly is), but because I can see elements that could have made for a decent design. Everybody else just looks full-out retarded, but the base for Tim's costume there - the red-on-black part - doesn't look bad, and I genuinely like the idea of him having a Gatchaman-style cape/wings. What makes it so hideous is that his upper half is covered in straps and pouches and shit, that all take away from the decent design they were built upon. I also don't know what the fuck is up with those red things on his legs, but they look dumb and I guarantee they don't do anything ( ... )
