Sufjan at the Paramount. AWESOME. He'd rearranged all his songs for his huge backing band (which included a sizeable string section and horn players), which gave the night a very orchestral feel. At times I felt like I was watching a musical--in a good way. For visuals, Sufjan was working with a home-movie-style background projection,

thanks for the rundown...i was dying to know what it was like. i still can't believe i missed this show! the only other friend of mine that i talked to who went would only say "it was the most amazing show i've ever seen", with no more elaboration.
