so i went to the most amazing party of my whole life last night at a space called The Treehouse. Its an art house in new orleans where the housemates have, over the course of a year, erected a 4 story treehouse in an old oak tree with nothing but dumpstered or stolen objects

Whoa, that looks and sounds amazing! I hope there's a party/event there while I'm in town!

Also, looking at hotel rooms, my friend Charlie can get a sweet hookup on a couple of rooms at Sheraton Metairie. It would be $30 for each person for the whole weekend, which is definitely affordable. The problem: neither of us know enough about New Orleans to know if the location is compatible with MAXIMUM FUN. Let me know what you think:

it's 1 block from 2 amazing bars and 3 blocks from one of the best burrito places in the city.

it's maybe a half-hour walk to the french quarter
and the bus goes right by
