is a fucking supernova that i'm gonna eat in february and explode. why keep going after i see them play? nothing else will matter like that.

we just got ms. meghan and mr. russell's wedding invite, and i gotta say: beautiful.

we do love getting mail almost no matter what (bills being the obvious exception) and this was a lovely mail day.

The colors, design, "packaging"...all exceptionally lovely. many thanks you two for thinking of us and for your kind invitation.

no 2 cops are only further empowered by hip hop music and its alleged denial of authority

no 3 fuck cops, fuck hip hop, fuck mardi gras, and fuck you.

last night, just before my inaugural 2010 mardi gras shift, i saw my first ever bit of a carnival parade with a strawberry abita--saved all the way from last year-- in tow. (abita is a (semi)local beer and the strawberry sort is a seasonal production that only happens in the spring of each year.) and i was amazed how much i love this place. again.
